 MicroBioLogics® specialises in producing lyophilised reference stock cultures for quality control laboratories. Ready-to-use reference stock cultures will alleviate labour-intensive processes of preparing, storing, and maintaining in-house cultures.
Each lyophilised microorganism is no more than four passages from the reference culture and is authentic and traceable. Choose from more than 750 microorganism strains derived from well-known culture collections from around the world including ATCC®, NCIMB, NCTC and more.

| LYFO DISK® |
 |
|
 LYFO DISK® is a lyophilised pellet containing a single strain of a microorganism and is the most economical reference stock culture option. LYFO DISK® is known for its ease-of-use; simply re-hydrate the pellet and you are ready to inoculate.
- LYFO DISK® is available in a resealable vial containing 10 pellets of a single microorganism strain.
- No more than four passages from the reference microorganism.

| KWIK-STIK™ |

The KWIK-STIK™ is well-known for its clever design and accurate, repeatable results. It is a self-contained unit featuring a single microorganism strain in a lyophilised pellet, a reservoir of hydrating fluid, and inoculating swab. Each KWIK-STIK™ unit has a peel-off identification label for easy documentation.
- KWIK-STIK™ units are available in packs of 2 or 10 individual KWIK-STIK units.
- No more than four passages from the reference microorganism.

| KWIK-STIK™ Plus |

KWIK-STIK™ Plus microorganisms are designed to meet the needs of labortories requiring QC microorganisms that are a limited number of passages from the reference culture. KWIK-STIK™ Plus microorganisms are two passages from the reference culture.
KWIK-STIK™ Plus microorganisms has the same characteristics as the KWIK-STIK with two additional features:
- KWIK-STIk Plus are lyophilised microorganisms preparations that are two passages from the reference culture.
- A peel-off label which contains a Certificate of Assay that specifies the identity and traceability fo the microorganisms to a reference culture, and the number of passages the microorganism preparation is removed from the reference culture.
- KWIK-STIK™ Plus comes in a canister containing five KWIK-STIK™ Plus units of a single strain.

Microorganism Sets offered by MicroBioLogics® contain the manufacturer recommended quality control strains for bacterial identification systems (e.g., Vitek®) and bacterial detection products (e.g., Colilert®). Miscellaneous Sets offered by MicroBioLogics® include the quality control strains for sensitivity testing, and appropriate microorganism groupings for a wide selection of additional quality control tests. Ordering microorganisms in sets simplifies the ordering process and offers the best value with a savings of 5% or more over ordering several individual microorganisms.

Assess laboratory personnel competence, analyst proficiency and internal proficiency with EZ-COMP™ Samples from MicroBioLogics®. Clinical and educational labs use EZ-COMP™ Samples for training and evaluation. Identified by codes rather than descriptions, EZ-COMP™ lyophilised preparations contain a "target" microorganism and microbiota or "mixed" population of microorganisms. EZ-COMP™ Samples can easily be incorporated into any laboratory's quality control program for added assurance and documentation of your personnel, procedures, and overall laboratory performance.
EZ-COMP™ Samples are packaged in ready-to-use KWIK-STIK™ 2 Packs and are traceable to the reference culture. Documentation comes in a yellow envelope with each package. It includes a list of the identification codes for the EZ-COMP™ Samples. This information is provided for the individual conducting the competency or proficiency evaluation.
