DNA Polymerases

Go to Bioron websiteThermophilic DNA Polymerases with special features can be irreplaceable for some PCR-related applications. Bioron offer an excellent selection of thermophilic DNA Polymerases for both routine and sophisticated tasks.
DFS-Taq DNA Polymerase - recommended for routine  PCR and PCR of templates with bacterial DNA homology.
DFS-Taq Blue DNA Polymerase - recommended for reactions where visual control of reaction mixture preparation is desirable.
TOP-Taq DNA Polymerase - suitable for all routine PCR but especially suited for applications where inhibitors decrease the performance of polymerases. TOP-Taq effectively directs PCR with the template lenghts up to 5kb.
SuperHoTTaq DNA Polymerase - "Hot-Start" PCR: suitable for Real Time PCR, low-copy number PCR, PCR of difficult templates.
SuperHoTTaq red DNA Polymerase - "Hot-Start" PCR with visual control of reaction mixture preparation.
Tth DNA Polymerase - Reverse transcription and amplification in one tube as it reveals RNA-dependent DNA-polymerase activity in the presence of Mn2+ ions.
KlenTaq DNA Polymerase - recommended for PCR of GC-rich regions at elevated temperatures, long PCR (in combination with Pfu DNA Polymerase).
Pfu DNA Polymerase and Psp DNA Polymerase - designed proof-reading PCR, end-polishing, long distance PCR (in combination with KleinTaq DNA Polymerase).
SNPase DNA Polymerase - recommended for SNP-genotyping, allele specific PCR, allele specific primer extension, min-sequencing, highly specific PCR, multiplex PCR, high fidelity PCR and real time PCR with intercalating dyes.
Encyclo PCR Kit - suitable for most PCR and primer extension applications. It is especially recommended for cDNA amplification and cDNA library construction.
Tersus PCR Kit - especially suited for PCR of complex templates including those with repetetive sequences.
InBlood DNA Polymerase - designed for effective PCR of templates directly from blood, without DNA purification.
Stream DNA Polymerase - a unique artificial enzyme created for superior performance in fidelity (100 times higher fidelity than Taq Polymerase) iwth difficult templates, andsignificantly reduced reaction times.

2'-Deoxynucleoside-5'-triphosphate

Go to Bioron websitedNTP's are chemically synthesised and are purified by ion exchange and reverse phase chromatography resulting in a purity of greater than 98%. Each dNTP is free from any traces of other dNTP's. They are available as sodium salts, solution and in powder and in sets.
Sets of 4 dNTP's (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP)
Set of 3 + 1 dNTP's (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dUTP)
Individual dNTP's (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP, dUTP)
  Modified dNTP's (Bio-11-dUTP, AZT Triphosphate, BudR Triphosphate, d4T triphosphate, dNTP's with amino-linkers, Flu-12-dUTP, TAMRA-12-dUTP)

DNA and DNA MW Markers

Go to Bioron websiteBioron offer a range of both DNA for use in restriction digests and prepared DNA ladders and other applications.
DNA:
Cot-1 Human DNA - can be used for suppressing crosshybridization to human repetitive DNA in microarray hybridizations and in situ hybridization experiments.
pUC19 DNA - is a commonly used E.coli plasmid cloning vector. The molecule is double-stranded circle of 2,686 base pairs in length. pUC19 carries a multiple cloning site polylinker that contains unique sites for 13 different restriction endonucleases
Phage Lambda DNA - isolated from an infected E. coli strain W3350. Restriction enzyme digested Lambda DNA (48,502 bp) generates molecular weight size markers routinely used in gel analysis of nucleic acids.
Bacteriophage T7 DNA - isolated from an infected E. coli strain. The DNA is linear and 39,937bp long. T7 DNA is the most popular "alternative" to Lambda DNA substrate for restriction endonucleases.

Molecular Weight Markers:
50 bp DNA Ladder - ideal for determining the size of double-stranded DNA from 50 to 500 base pairs. The ladder consists of 9 fragments that range in size from 50 – 500 bp. The 300 bp fragment has an increased intensity to allow easy identification. All fragments are blunt-ended.
100 bp DNA Ladder - ideal for determining the size of double-stranded DNA from 100 to 1,000 base pairs. The ladder consists of ten fragments that range in size from 100 to 1,000 bp in 100 bp increments. The 500 bp fragment is present at increased intensity to allow easy identification. All fragments are blunt-ended.
100 bp RAINBOW eXtended DNA Ladder - a pre-mixed, ready-to-load molecular weight marker containing 2 dyes which serve as visual aids to monitor the progress of migration during agarose gel electrophoresis. The DNA Ladder consists of proprietary plasmids which are digested to completion with appropriate restriction enzymes to yield 11 bands suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis. The digested DNA includes fragments ranging from 100 – 1,500 base pairs. The 500 bp and the 1,000 bp fragments are present at increased intensity to allow easy identification. All fragments are blunt-ended.
100 bp extended DNA Ladder - ideal for determining the size of double-stranded DNA from 100 to 1,500 base pairs. The ladder consists of 11 fragments that range in size from 100 – 1,500 bp. The 500 bp fragment is present at increased intensity to allow easy identification. All fragments are blunt-ended.
1 kb DNA Ladder - ideal for determining the size of double-stranded DNA from 250 to 10,000 base pairs. The ladder consists of 13 fragments. The 3,000 bp and 1,000 bp fragments are present at increased intensity to allow easy identification. All fragments are blunt-ended.
